Chris McCausland the winner of Strictly Come Dancing, shared that participating in the show

Chris McCausland, the winner of Strictly Comes Dancing:

During a recent episode of The One Show, the 47-year-old comedian joined hosts Alex Jones and Lauren Laverne to discuss his time on the BBC program. He was accompanied by Strictly judge Anton Du Beke and comedian Lee Mack, who also talked about their upcoming Christmas film, Bad Tidings, set to premiere on December 22. Alex began the show by welcoming the guests and congratulating Chris on his victory. She remarked, "Congratulations Chris! We were all in tears at home; has it sunk in yet?"

With a smile, Chris responded, "It's been absolutely wild. The show is relentless and incredibly stressful; it's the scariest thing I've ever done. It's also the most exhausting challenge I've faced, but undoubtedly the most rewarding experience of my life." He continued, "It's truly been remarkable, and I never anticipated it would be so emotional. I thought it was just about dancing, and if you performed well, people would enjoy it."

Chris added, "I was surprised to see people cry, and I didn't expect to cry myself. I managed to hold it together until the semi-final, but once I started, I couldn't stop." Judge Anton also commended Chris for his outstanding performances, stating, "You were extraordinary in what you accomplished." He recalled, "When people asked me at the start what I thought Chris would do, I honestly had no idea. If it were me, I would probably just hold on to you and keep you in place as we danced around."
